Wink Hi Everyone.....Im From the uk - 01-07-2007, 09:36 AM

hI
I got to know this site via a very kind lady who has gone out of her way to advise me and answer my questions regarding looking for a surrogate, i thankyou from the bottom of my heart.........

A little about myself. Im 41 years young!! my hubby 38 (toyboy)..... We've been together for years but only got married in 2005. We have been on our fertility journey for 15 years, which has been very long and very emotional at times.
I had an ectopic pregnancy at 27, which broke my heart, then after that i kind of started putting fertility on the back burner, we were trying but no more fertility treatments.
The years quickly passed, i changed my career at 30, and before i knew it, iwas fast approaching the BIG 40........
So at 38 we decided we would have a few ivf's to see what would happen, again we started this roller coaster of treatments.
The 1st one failed, i was upset and wondered why i had bothered even starting again.
The 2nd ivf, i left no stone unturned i had acupuncture, and i also learned that taking 1 baby asprin a day helps the blood supply to the womb, so i took that, adopted the chinese policy of keeping my abdomin warm after my embryo transfer by sitting with a blanket around my waist.......i done the lot........
And just before my 40th birthday, on 7th sept 2005 we got pregnant!!!!!!! after all those years, the ivf worked. but still i had a long way to go, i knew that. i had a scan at 7weeks and i seen my babys heart beating, i cried with joy, i smiled forever and couldnt stop, i was the happiest person in the entire world!!!!!!
It was a difficult pregnancy as i had hyperstilulation as i produced a lot of eggs that pregnancy.
But as time went on everything settled and i got safely over the 3 month period, i could start relaxing. The wonderful feeling of being pregnant...... i started feeling the baby move now and then and i treasured each and every day i was pregnant, then when i reached 21wks my waters broke and i was rushed to hospital, 5 hours later i gave birth to a baby boy, my heart and world was broken into pieces, he was too young to survive, he was so pretty and perfect, my beautiful baby boy.
Im not sure how i got through that time, but we had a funeral and burried him with his grandfather. My life was a nightmare, i cried for months. All i had left was a photo of my baby boy we named Sam.
Then after the pregnancy i learned i had a huge fibroid causing many problems, so it was decided it had to be removed, and the op turned out to be a difficult one and they had to cut into my womb a little to get it out......
The story ending me being told any future pregnancies my womb might rupture, though maybe not for definate, but we dont want to take anymore risks, we want our baby here safely next time, so thats why im looking for a surrogate Angel to help me get my baby into my arms this time.

Sorry its a long story there, but its been a long journey, very long, i look forward to getting to know you all

Oh how sad, I wish you luck on your journey. Are you looking for a surro in the UK or in the US?
