Thanks for asking:)

Little Steve was awake and alert when I saw him tonight and eating well. His little lips and face look so pale though. They are rechecking his blood count in the morning; he may end up needing a blood transfusion.

I really don't know how people make it through this kind of thing with SICK newborns and kids. Ours have been well with mainly premie difficulties (except for Steven's colon) and it has been quite the rollercoaster ride. Please keep us in your prayers.

Just a little update about Steven as of today. He is starting his blood transfusion this afternoon and will finish the second half tomorrow. The docs have decided to start him on another antibiotic for his colon which is in liquid form so he could come home on it. I really hoping he gets turned around here in the next bit. I hate not being able to see him more than once a day.

I really hoping he gets turned around here in the next bit. I hate not being able to see him more than once a day.
