Well our passanger did not make it. I am so disappointed and on top of it my mother-in-law died. How could only 3 out of 12 fertilized eggs make it to the transfer day? We only have 2 male embryos and perhaps they won't make it to the transfer day. We can only afford to try this 1 more time. I am thinking we should not have done the PGD. Maybe the PGD damaged the embryos.
Well, I've got to go cry.

Hi Elaine, as a GS I had a similar experience with PGD except we retreived over 25 eggs and after PGD we had 4 left. It was so disappointing.... I am very sorry! Sending you lots of vibes.

I think we had 1 failed fresh transfer. We are trying to decide whether we should implant the frozen boys or just start over. I think they tested too early. Our GS is going to be tested again tomorrow. I hope she is BFP. We really wanted this girl and quite frankly I can't wait until we are pregnant and don't have to have any more contact with Cooper. I've been doing most of the work and paying for medical expenses I don't need to because Cooper did not advise me what to do so we can get maximum re-reimbursement. They say we have 100 patients but whenever we go there they don't look busy at all. I've dealt with other medical facilities as a cancer patient and you can see they are very busy and I've never had to handle my own insurance issues etc. The are in the business and should know the ins and outs particularly since they are an Aetna Provider. If you don't follow exact procedures because I just don't know about these things you end up paying for more out of pocket than you should and sometimes you don't get reimbursed at all for something that would have been reimbursed.
We are heartbroken. We got 1 phone call to say we were not pregnant. We have hardly had any contact or consults with a doctor. Perhaps we should have adopted. Well maybe the next time will take.
Thanks for asking. I hope all is well with you.

I am so sorry you are having to go through all this. :(
Have you asked to speak with a billing representative? You should NOT have to deal with the insurance company directly relating to a claim the office filed. They are the ones with the education, and more than likely certification, in billing.
Goodluck! I'll keep you in my prayers. Keep us posted.

Geez! I am sooo sorry. I hope she gets a BFP and you can say good riddens to the clinic and do the happy dance. I know my IM will if things go well this time. We are very frustrated with our clinic but for different reasons. YOU should NOT have to handle insurance issues but even I have to correct billings' mistakes and I have military insurance. So, honey, you are not alone. I will keep you in my prayers. Stay strong! ;)
