I gained 6 lbs with my first and 13 with my second. Both born 38 weeks or later.

my 1st single bubba I gained 60 lbs :eek: . but I had lost about 40 before becomming preggo...so I wasnt really all that far ahead. Then with the twins I only gained 26. I figure it is because they were sucking the life out of me so I didn't gain too much!! :D :D

I have gained between 45 and 51 each time with my own singletons. It will be interesting to see how much more or less I gain with twins.

Nicolette... you made me laugh when you said stones. I know that one, though... I was a a Christmas party in London before we were married and three of us girls were talking about what we weighed (no guys listening) and I said pouds, one girl said stones and one said kilos... lol.

I gained no more than 20 ish at the most with each of my four babies. And after delivery I weighed less than I did when I got pregnant.
I think some of it is natural to gain some weight but I think some of it is mental too. I felt so good and happy when I was pregnant I was just very active.

I gained about 65 with my first. Then about 50 with the next three pregnancies one of which was the twins. All Babies were born big, full term and healthy ranging from 8lb14oz to 7lb and 7lb4oz (twins). Takes me about a year to go back to pre pregnancy weight. I am currently 5 lbs up from pre twin weight and they were born last Feb.

My first I gained 60lbs but that was because my mom told me that I could eat whatever I wanted because I would loose it right away. THE BIGGEST LIE!! I lost that weight and with the second one i gained about 10 lbs and lost it all and with the twins I gained 9 lbs and lost it and more with them. Eat helthy and exercise while preggo and it will help. I always said eating for to but the baby eats what you eat for one day the baby can eat on that food for a week. So that was just an excuse for me too.

I had gestational diabetes years ago and gained very little weight due to insulin and a rigid diet. I gained more after the birth. Gee and I still am fighting the battle of the bulge

I wish I could answer this one. Due to really bad nausea and also not a very good journey I actually lost weight. I was at my PRE-pregnancy weight when I had my surro daughter.
