Mending broken heart

I am on the way to mending a broken heart. It has been a long time and I have lost my way many times. I have let obstacles keep me from seeing things in the light of day. I have let my hurt keep me sad. I am happy to be finding peace and to have learned how very much friends mean to me. The old saying about to find the value of a friend ask someone who has lost one, is so true and it makes me cry.

For all that have lost a friend try and fix it if you can for life is short. A true friend will be such a value to you. I know that it is to me.

I agree, I sometimes really don't like hearing nor do I appreciate the advice.... but I think BCSurroMom is right, time doesn't necessarily heal but it does get better.
