Well, my Mom and I got word this afternoon about my uncle. He is in his late 60's and has open heart surgeries replacing valves and rebuilding some arteries for the last 12years. We have known he has not been doing well, refusing oxygen and forcing him to take his meds. His theory is, if it is his time then let it be. Kind of selfish when he has many loved one around him. Anyhow, he is being rushed into another heart surgery tomorrow morning to replace the original valves, since he has had previous surgeries and his declining health the doctors are giving him less than 50% chance of surviving this. My Aunt is refusing any support system because she doesnt want to deal with other people in her moment of stress..... So, we will be standing by our phones with baited breath to see how my uncle did. Please keep them in your thoughts, send them some good vibes and prayers. They have been married for 40 years and know an end always has to come, but still.

Sorry for not posting sooner. He made it, he had some difficult recooping from the anestesia (sp) and labored breathing...but he survived. Doctor is giving him a year to live.

Thats one more year.....better than nothing.

Thank you very much for all of your well wishes and prayers.
