This punch is awesome! My family has this at all baby showers, wedding showers, birthday parties, house warming parties, christmas parties, wedding receptions, etc. We love it!
1 large can of pineapple juice
1 container of orange sherbet, 1/2 gallon size
1 2-liter of ginger ale
1 large jug of Red Hawaiian Punch
Pour equal parts of pineapple juice, ginger ale, and hawaiian punch into a punch bowl or other large bowl. Stir together until well mixed. Add frozen 1/2gallon of orange sherbet, stirring a little after sherbert is added. Using a ladle, keep pouring mixture over sherbert. Continue stirring occassionally as sherbet starts to melt. If more punch is needed, add more ginger ale, pineapple juice, and hawaiian punch in equal parts, adding sherbert as needed.
I have made individual servings of this, just as a pick me up on the weekends or at night. Just put a couple of scoops of sherbert into a cup, add equal parts of pineapple juice, hawaiian punch, and ginger ale. Stir until well mixed. This could also be spiked with a bit of vodka.
Also, variations of this could be made---just use different flavored hawaiian punch or different flavors of sherbert.
