Todays Inspiration

The bible does not tell us alot about Mary and Martha they are mentioned only three times in scripture Luke 10 38-42 , John 11 1-44 and John12 1-11. These accounts are brief but give us alot of insight into the character of the two sisters. Have you ever heard that opposites attract Maybe that is what families today are so diverse.According to the author Mary was the sunlight and Martha the thunder. Mary was the type to stop and enjoy the small things in life and Martha was the well planned never catch her two steps behind. Life for Martha was dedication to everything being just perfect and life to Mary was sweet and time to enjoy all the wonders
Jesus did not correct Martha when she called for Mary. He simple stated that Mary had chosen the better. It implied that they both could have chosen the better part.

God offers his love and mercy free to everyone of us. No matter what
or who you are it is readily available for those that ask.

Do you have time to slow down and to take the opportunity to enjoy

You know Star it's hard to slow down in today's everyday life. Look it's already the last day of the end of the year. Where did it all go:confused: I really see this when I go to family get togethers and I see all the family that I remember being so young when I was little. I now go and they are aging and it is so hard to see happening. We have to slow down and really appreciate the worls around us and how we got here in the first place. Thank you for making us think:D
